Over the pond of Salt…

Monday, May 8th, 2006

So I am leaving for France Tomorrow and when traveling overseas there are only a few things one should remember. Few and far, but important…

1… being one of the more important things to know: not all hard boiled eggs are in fact completely hard boiled in the land of Holland. Be careful where you peal your shell because it may in fact explode looking like something else exploded all over you.

If you don’t understand me… bummer, but I will give you a clue and only one clue… think of what an almost hard boiled egg may in fact look like

2… when traveling to Italy know the big cities: so when you land in Canada and have to find another airline and a nice guy or girl, if it is a girl, but for me it was a guy, asks you where you are going and you, being me, says “Italy” and he says “Rome” and you say no “Italy” and he says “Yes, Rome” and again you say “No Italy” and he says “Here let me see your ticket”… at that point in time he is thinking “Not so smart one Rome is in Italy where are you going?”

I was going to Milan, not Rome and yes they are both in Italy

3… Don’t forget your passport. I haven’t done this, but it would be a bummer to forget it and not get to pond jump over the salt. Maybe that should be number 1 cause if this happened then you wouldn’t have to worry about any of the other ones. Alright three seems like enough… but if you are going to ride your bike don’t forget your bike. If you are playing ping pong don’t forget your ping pong racket.

Great Job to my teammates racing here and there all over the US of A in Alabama and New Mexico. It would be best to go to www.victorycycling.com to see race reports cause that would be a great idea.

Off to Lude Load L’Aude is Lauren, Grace, Lara, Kathryn, and me. If there is someone else I am not sure, but if so I will let you know when I know.

Team TT is the first day and after that we go up up up up and down down and up up up some more most days.

If we have internet I will report and if not I will not be able to report.

I am off to run around town most of the day getting stuff I need and doing stuff I need to do. But not really running because I wouldn’t be able to move for a week if I did that.

To running, but not really running

Dimples

Saturday, May 6th, 2006

So I was at work today and we got these shammies in that had dimples on them and wayla I just got my next idea about how to get faster and better with just some minor adjustments.

Well if you were not one of the lucky people born with dimples then you must figure something else out and I have just figured that out…

K, here is the logic. So someone who makes a lot of money decided to put simi holes in balls, specifically golf balls. These simi hole are called dimples.

Alright, so you want to get faster on the bike, well time to put dimples in it. The more dimples the faster you will go.

Well since I am running out of time before I leave I will just duck tape my bikes together (my TT bike and road bike) and let them travel over seas like this, without the bag. I am sure they will have many dimples in them by the time they make it to France, to race and a few other things in French…. kissing. Just kidding

Now I understand not everyone rides their bike. Well if you are an expert writer and just can’t write fast enough, I would put dimples in my pencil. Wayla… faster writing.

AND, If you are a runner… try wearing plastic shaped like clothes with dimples in it instead of “regular” clothes. I would suggest making a few holes too so you can get some air. Plastic is not breathable and you may get hot without a few holes.

Alright, good luck with faster whatever… the key is dimples, dimples, dimples.

to fastness,

:)Chrissy

Warning: dimples may ruin whatever you are trying to put dimples in if you are not careful. You are responsible for all dimples. If you have any questions please contact the closest plastic surgeon near you. They can probably help you out… they are good at redoing people, maybe plastic or pencils too.

K, I am off to Lude Load (L’Aude) on Tuesdays but tomorrow I am working all day again.

ps again…

Warning: I am not a state of the art genious… although close. There may in fact be a few spelling and grammer errors (if you sound out most words you can figure out what I am saying (thanks)

Missing A Saddle

Friday, May 5th, 2006

First, I am happy to announce I am not actually missing my saddle from my bike… this is a good thing mainly because who wants to stand for hours on two pedals with no where to sit. I surely don’t

And although, as some of you already know I lose things quite often, I have not lost my saddle.

So even though this is officially the site of chrissyruiter.missingsaddle.com I can still sit on my bike while pedaling.

That is all for right now!!!

We, mostly Curtis, is still doing stuff to the site. I know a tad more then the squirls running around outside about building web pages, but not much so am not to much help.

Until Later… Later,

Oh and….

Warning: I am not a state of the art genious… although close. There may in fact be a few spelling and grammer errors (if you sound out most words you can figure out what I am saying (thanks)

Most of the information is in fact true: just some of the names, places, dates, and ideas have been modified

K, bye for now

:)Chrissy

ps… Theres probably spell check on this so look out I may become a better speller soon.

Welcome
