Femme and Homme’s

Since I have been in CehNehDeh I am understanding French more and more, however for the most part I actually don’t understand it at all. Although some words are similar to English words, most are not at all.
Being a world renounced educator I am going to share with you how English and French are related according to today’s events.
So today it is the national TT championships for all Canadians who race a TT bike. Here in CehNehDeh the women are called Femme and the men are called Homme… Now from this example it is easy to see how the French and English languages are similar in the same sort of way…
In English women, chicks, babes, or hotties are sometimes called Females, which looks a lot like Femme… the french way of saying women, chicks, babes or hotties. This really makes it much easier to learn the language and understand what it going on in the world up north of the boarder below this boarder…
Now the men, dudes, bros, or hotties are sometimes called Males in English, which looks nothing like Homme… the French way of saying men, dudes, bros, or hotties BUT you and I both know guys like to call each other their hommies, which in turn looks a lot like Homme. Walla… lesson numero 1 for today.
Now for the rest of the day after the guys are done figuring out which cassette goes with which wheel (I think they need my help) I am going out to practice bull riding on the streets of Quebec.
I just got the GO TIME for riding so I am out of here for now and until later,
Don’t forget to practice your French… any kind
:)Chrissy

Here we are at the Rochester in the crown plaza hotel… ANd in store for today we (being Laura, Lauren, Laura, Tara, and maawaah) have some circular racing for an hour, give or take a bit of time. Lucky for us we don’t race until 7pm so we can get some quality training in for the event later…. For preparation we are laying around on our sides, both sides, because we will be taking right hand and left hand corners in the crit. This is important and recommended for crit riding…
A full week of spandix racing up North of the boarder only means one thing… it is time to scrub a dub dub. Now don’t get me wrong even if you didn’t race in spandix I would suggest also scrubing every so often just to make sure people will continue to hang out with you.
