Here We Are…

jumpfrog.gifHere we are at the Rochester in the crown plaza hotel… ANd in store for today we (being Laura, Lauren, Laura, Tara, and maawaah) have some circular racing for an hour, give or take a bit of time. Lucky for us we don’t race until 7pm so we can get some quality training in for the event later…. For preparation we are laying around on our sides, both sides, because we will be taking right hand and left hand corners in the crit. This is important and recommended for crit riding…

This will help you get the feeling of really laying out your bike and you will be able to take corners at speeds faster then mock speeds. No matter how good you are at circular riding you will become faster if you do this one easy step…

How long really depends on how many right hand corners there are vs. left hand corners. More right hand corners… well lay on your right hand side for a longer period of time. The ratio really varies from course to course.

Good luck with training…

And also here at the hotel I have noticed that when entering an elevator it is important not to completely smile, but almost smile and don’t make eye contact for goodness sakes… this is for sure. Someone in fact may say Hi to you and then what are you to do… Just kidding, don’t do this (most people do not bite)

Camera statis: Still on vacation… last I heard it was in PA with Kirstin. I hope it is having fun because I sure miss the little guy.

BUT:

For now have a cookie and when we get to Starbucks, after looking for stars and money, I will probably put up pictures from last weeks adventures of this and that all of which occured up north of the boarder…

Until Later Have fun hiking, reading, talking, singing, cleaning, making a mess, and most importantly laying on your side!!!!

:)Chrissy

ps… WARNING #1…. Results of side laying vary from person to person. If one of your arms falls asleep while preforming this flip over as fast as you can!!!

psss…. Warning: I am not a state of the art genious… although close. There may in fact be a few spelling and grammer errors (if you sound out most words you can figure out what I am saying (thanks)
