Happy Holidays…

Sunday, December 24th, 2006

christmas.jpg I hope you have a happy happy Holiday whatever and which ever holiday or no holiday you like… (cause some people don’t like the holidays… thats all I meant and I still hope they are happy)

For me… Just to make sure I knew exactly what to get everyone for Christmas I waited until the last possible moment to go shopping. I figured the longer I waited the easier it would be for me to choose just what to get since there is less to pick from. This in fact worked really well for card picking today about 20 minutes before the shop closed, oops…

I in fact discovered just how I am going to get ready for the New Year get togethers this year…. Well head to the card shops early in the morning, probably all of them.

Why? Well not to get the cards on sale for next year, (although not a bad idea) but to get all the glitter off the cards so I can sparkle for the New Year’s Eve. I actually am not sure if this is still stylish or fashionable…. to sparkle out and about in or around town, BUT I am pretty sure it is. Now I don’t want to take so much off that someones card doesn’t sparkle so that is why I am going to all the card shops… I will sparkle for the night…

Other then that I will be riding here and there as soon as the pavement changes from an ice rink to a non-ice rink.

And chasing after some nieces coming into town tomorrow… I love tag so I am pretty excited.

Happy Holidays

:)Chrissy

ps… DON’T thank you sister for a book you thought she got you next to your bed that you are in fact giving her for Christmas.

The conversation went something like this…

Me: Jen thanks for the book, that was nice

Jen: What book?

My mom giving me the “no look… I got that to give to your sister tomorrow seeing how you have $3.02 in your bank account”

Everyone: hehehehe (aka LOL)

Me: oops, yum… hehehe I will go ahead and put it back in the bag, well its a nice book

Sunny Sun…

Friday, December 15th, 2006

jumpfrog.gifThe sun came out and about today and man oh man was it nice. Really I did what any normal person would do on a sunny day in Cali, California. I looked for the margarita maker, my sunglasses, and my tongs, I mean flip flops… not my swimsuit.
The past few days have been foggy… in fact the other day we were climbing up this gigantic mountain almost as big as Mount Everst and I couldn’t even see Phil or Katharine, let alone the lambs that had bells around there nexts in the field next to me…

But I mean really how many people get to ride in the clouds all day. In fact, I was looking for the Care-bears all day, but I couldn’t find them. When I was about 5 I heard they lived up there in the clouds so I was looking and looking.

All in all today was a great day of riding near the ocean with Sarah B. and pacing back and forth in my skinsuit around the house. Oh yes, this is true. I am kinda nervous because I am helping with a clinic tomorrow where we will be practicing pace lining…
Now it is time to head with Janelle, Katharine, and Phil to the city to see what city life is all about here in San Fran. where the trollies run wild and the steets are steeper then steep….

:)Me
ps… I just figured out pictures work on Janelle’s computer so I am putting some up tomorrow or the next day… hip hip hera

look look…

K, never mind

Stuff…

Wednesday, December 13th, 2006

And I am not stuffing anything what so ever in my bra… And I have been told I should try NOT stuffing my jersey pockets so full because then others have to start carry my stuff. But lucky for me, as a few have pointed out, since I have an extra large jersey on I can stuff more stuff in my jersey pockets. SO this meant as I was once again over heating Katharine only had to carry my gloves up the first hill climb…

AND actually I really just wanted to put the hurt on so figured if she carried my gloves I would have a greater chance of just doing this due to the increase in weight now in her jersey… no I am just kidding I really just didn’t have any room in my pockets due to the chance of it raining outside, but not raining at all.

In fact it was so nice here in CA I am thinking about getting an early start at sun tanning on Janele’s porch in my sweet sun gear…. you know if I can get a jump start on the “biker tan” I will for sure have the greatest “biker tan” line of all… and I just am so excited about this
SO today we were out and about for probably between 3 .454 minutes and 7.9398 hours as I took pictures of this and that being most of this…

THIS all happened yesterday but today we did pretty much the same thing BUT I am sure the neighbors were happy it was a tad cloudy out so there was no sun tanning on the porch for me…

The delay in the post was due to… me trying pretty hard to get the pictures up and running on my computer, but not running to fast or no one would get to see them BUT it just didn’t work. Today however I got them up and ready to run but hopefully they will stay in one spot…

So HERE we go…

Starting with the jont up the hill above the Golden Gate Bridge…

Dang… the pictures just aren’t working. I have tried but I guess they are up and running to fast, so instead here is what it would look like…
a bridge looking almost red with a hint of orange extending from one end of the land to the next over a body of water that looks mighty cold… and
other pictures included Katharine, Janelle, Phil, and moi (me in French)
Then today Sarah, Phil, Kat and I went riding here and there until we came across a bridge when one of us turned around… I won’t say who but will let you know the person not liking bridges high in the sky begins with the letter P and ends with the letter L…

Alright I think three days later I am putting up what is going on here and there in Sausalito, CA now that I am for sure, sure that pictures are just to fast to stay on in one place, BUT Katharine said she will put them up on her website so as soon as she does I will let one and all know so they can see just what a red with a hint of orange bridge looks like often called the Golden Gate Bridge…

It is now time to go ride in the fog dressed in all my rain outfits to simulate what it may feel like riding this summer when it may get toasty hot… really I think you should probably also prepare for this…

Later Gator,
:)Chrissy

ps… I think it is actually this computer that won’t upload so I will try on Kat’s after we get back from our ride as long as long as we find our way home in the fog…

Thee other day…

and then today Phil and I went for a ride and hit some nails in hopes a bunch of boards would stand upright… and thank goodness I am not trying to become the next who’s who builder because most of the time my nails don’t hit anything …..

BUT I am thinking about entering the next sweeping competition because I have become the next who’s who sweeper… oh yes I can sweep pretty much anything in any position which mainly includes the push tap and spin movement, mainly because I think I am the key sweeper of bark chips since no one else seems to get that job…

So that is really and truly what I have been up to the past few weeks or even months… I am in fact not even sure when the last time I updated this site mainly because I couldn’t find my saddle… no just kidding, I have my saddle

AND riding here and there went a lot and mostly like this…

For today…

Phil, Chris, tailwind and I headed to Sisters where we…

Chris and Phil  road mostly in a forward direction

Chris and Phil and held arms… not hands

AND I also thought it looked like great times so joined in the fun…

IMGP4789.JPG and man oh man let me tell you it was a blast, something all rides should include in their practices. In fact I am thinking if I can do this with one person just think of what I can do in the pack if I keep it up….

anyways then we made a turn onto some dirt roads where…

On the dirt road Phil and Chris road talking about this and that as I bumped along fish tailing with one hand on my bars to take this and

The mountains that and

then

View this all of the mountains along our ride… where

on the road we continued on our way into the

Another splendid view sun and then found

the actual hut a fort and some

cats paws lions and tiger prints so headed

our ride on dirt back down the path…

AND home

BUT before I leave you Tiffany wanted me to share here experience on the farm with you while I was out riding on Sunny Sunday

So

First Tiffany was just

llama 1 eating, minding her own bussiness when

lama eating the first of many friends wanted to see what she was munchin’ on so

hey whats going on? more buddies made there way over BUT

Don't even think about it! Tiffany wanted all the food to herself so yelled at them and then…

yep, I told you to stay away charged the group (notice Tiffany is in the pack now)

AND so once they knew who was boss

she

and eating again... went back to eating…

Yep, and then I ran across a deer party where they were heading out and about…

it went a lot like this…

deer crossing 1 crossing 2 crossing 3

and really looked like a good crowd was headed to the next location as you can see by the number of cars being held up by the crossing… I was going to see if I could join them, but decided I should keep riding here and there to see what else I could see…

Really other then more trees, bushes, rocks and cows that was about all…

So as for nailing this is what is still upright…

THE house

I am hoping not to lose my saddle so I will try to update more often on this and that here and there because we (being Phil and I) are heading down to California where we will get to hang out with Katharine, Janelle, and Brenda Wahoooo :)

It is now time to count some sheep and fall asleep…

So until next time…

:)Me

ps… which is Chrissy if you forgot because I haven’t updated in a long long long time

pss… Phil and I got a new sweet car which will be shown sooner then later, but later then now
