Its About that time….
Friday, March 16th, 2007Its about that time of year when I get a little older than I was a full year ago and my sister does the same thing only 2 minutes earlier. You know I can tell she is older then me. Mainly because she is older then me.
Anyways before any of this happens it is St. Patties day. One of my favorite holidays because I get to pinch so many people on their bums usually know as a butt. Yep so if you are not wearing green in the TT tomorrow look out you may get goosed by me. So I guess that leaves webcore and probably a few others in the clear. Everyone else I hope you find something green. Actually I am just kidding. I don’t like 2 ride 1 handed on my TT bike.
Yep so we are here in about central California at the Quad Knof where we will be pedaling a long way, flipping a U-e, and heading back into town all in the smog (which has a definition of brown fog that tends to make great sunsets )and by ourselves for about 18miles.
Now what do I think about on such a long TT. Faster. I wonder how fast everyone else is going. faster. Crap I hit a pot hole. Its only been 2 minutes and 5 seconds. Crap another pot hole.sweet almost 2 the top of the hill. That downhill was sweet i hope the next one is faster. Where is the turn around? Go faster legs. Hum. sweet the turn around. Wowy I am glad the wheels didn’t pop when I skidded around that cone. Then a bunch of other stuff like Go fight win. Stand up sit down fight fight fight.
Then the next day we will be traveling in more of a circle witout a 180 degree turn leaning to the right and left and back again for about an hour.
What do I think about in a crit? left left left oh right left and left. K here we go again….
So don’t forget your green tomorrow and your shoes!
Have a good day!

Ps… I don’t know how to post the jumping frog from my phone so he gets a break
On a long straight road… Theres only one thing to do but go staight until it(being the road) turns right AND that is just what a lot of us did today in Fresno, Cali California. But we did this mostly in the almost laying down position with the wind blowing in our face while pedaling as fast as our little or big legs would take us. Actually it (the TT position) is more like when you fell asleep at school and layed your head down on your desk. Of course this never happened to me… And Christine in fact WON… which means she slept through a lot of her Docter classes… JUST KIDDING, totally kidding. But it kinda reminds me of that particular position. And in fact the wooden chairs where about as comfortable as my saddle…
